Sherry Lawler wears two vocational hats, dividing her waking hours between The Up and Down Closet and her practice as a Medical Social Worker. Sherry is a devoted Mom and Mimi, who loves to spend time with her family. She loves to read, to travel, and to take long walks with her two extremely lovable Golden Retrievers.

Six professional women (none of us with a background in sales!) started The Up and Down Closet in May of 2007.

“We thought there should be a place where women who wear plus sizes can find high quality, affordable clothing,” says Jackie Biggers, co-owner of The Up and Down Closet.

Our business has grown steadily over the years, confirming our conviction that Curvy Girls DO Make the World Go Round!!

Jackie Biggers is a retired Rehab Nurse. She lives in trendy East Nashville and devotes much of her time to The Up and Down Closet, her family, and her Shih/Poo dog-daughter Rosie.

Jackie and Sherry both enjoy meeting the wonderful shoppers and consignors who enrich the lives of those of us who work in the The Up and Down Closet.
